With 2010 Jaguar XF Coupe, Jaguar is planning an attack on the sports market. This targeting new segments with coupes and convertibles. Models like the Audi A5 will have a new competitor, as the first Jaguar model to emerge will be a coupe version of the XF sedan.
The coupe version will be based on the current XF sedan. It will have a look similar to the sedan, but with a more sporty personality. Have probably a suspension revisions and a new headlight design. Engine choices will remain the same as the sedan, so the XF coupe will probably range-topping supercharged V8 engine of 4.2 liters with an output of 400 hp (possibly a version R for 500 hp in the near future .)
Jaguar is pretty busy with the XF sedan, so do not expect to see the coupe before 2010. Jaguar still has to submit the XF-R sedan 500 hp in the month of January at the Detroit Motor Show, to concentrate on the coupe recently.
